With your radio model/serial number in hand, you’ll be able to create a login on the Reciva system. From there, you can create lists of favorite stations and manage them. If you don’t own a Reciva radio, however, you can’t log into the Reciva database.
Of course, in my world, nothing compares with shortwave, but it’s so fun to listen to community stations across the globe. OK, so Spotify and other services don’t cost that much. Then you pay more for GB’s of bandwidth to help get the experience you want. Then of course, since you have the extra bandwidth, you subscribe to an extra movie package and a sports package to stream online. Getting closer and closer to that mythical $100 per month saved above. That also means that I don’t depend on streaming aggregators, since stream URL’s are changing all the time and sometimes it takes the aggregator a while to do an update.
Listeners will be able to tune into your shows on any Sonos device. Get in touch with us if you’re interesting branding up your own Sonos app. I have just tried again to get it to play that radio station via voice command and it did. I asked Alexa to play tunein ‘radio station’, I have listened to this particular station via the echo numerous times. I have the same issues as others on this thread (only problem is with BBC stations; other tunein stations and other services seem fine).
Way back when, the development team at TuneIn Radio demonstrated a strong commitment to accessibility–so much so that the app had been inducted into the AppleVis iOS App Hall of Fame. In August 2012, an update was introduced that, among other things, made the alarm clock feature inaccessible. Later in 2012, TuneIn Radio’s induction to the iOS App Hall of Fame was revoked. Many members of the AppleVis community have attempted to reach out to TuneIn’s development team, and their support team is aware of the difficulties that VoiceOver users are experiencing. And yet, almost 2 1/2 years later, the app still has major accessibility problems.
It replaced the long-running show CNN Student News which had been aired since 1989. It is aimed at a global audience of students, teachers, and adults, and is hosted by Carl Azuz. The topical news program Judy Woodruff’s Inside Politics was the first CNN program to feature a round-up of blogs in 2005. Blog coverage was expanded when Inside Politics was folded into The Situation Room (Inside Politics later returned to CNN in 2014, this time hosted by the network’s chief national correspondent John King.). In 2006, CNN launched CNN Exchange and CNN iReport, initiatives designed to further introduce and centralize the impact of everything from blogging to citizen journalism within the CNN brand. CNN iReport which features user-submitted photos and video, has achieved considerable traction, with increasingly professional-looking reports filed by amateur journalists, many still in high school or college.
